Bio-based eco-friendly paint formulas have become a rising topic in the industry. Derived from natural plant sources such as straw, corn, and cassava, bio-based materials replace non-renewable petroleum derivatives traditionally used in latex paints, offering an environmentally friendly, natural, and sustainable alternative.
To help create a healthier environment for future generations, Huarun Paint (a consumer brand under global coatings leader Sherwin-Williams) partnered with Disney to launch the “A+ Botanical Series”—a bio-based paint line specially designed for children’s rooms.
This collaboration with reflects Huarun’s commitment to advancing sustainable coating technologies while enhancing brand value and positioning the brand as a true guardian of a greener future.
Task
Wonderworks collaborated closely with Huarun Paints to develop a comprehensive design strategy for the launch of its bio-based children’s paint line, the A+ Botanical Series. From brand positioning to visual storytelling, Wonderworks crafted a cohesive design system that communicates the product’s natural, safe, and sustainable qualities. By integrating child-friendly aesthetics with eco-conscious messaging, Wonderworks translated Huarun’s commitment to health and sustainability into a clear, approachable identity—enhancing the brand’s emotional connection with young families and reinforcing its role as a leader in green innovation.
